I hope you have all had a great week and are looking forward to the weekend and mother’s day. Speaking of mother’s day be expecting a gift ideas post from me. If you are a follower of my instagram you would know I am a sucker for nude lips especially at night time or late night events should I say, you can never really go wrong with bold eyes, a flesh coloured blush and neutral lips it pretty much completes your look.
When I buy lipsticks I never spend too much money on them except they are really worth the purchase. If my sole purpose of buying a lipstick is to wear to a night out (a couple of hours) then I go for high street brands. However, if it’s something that has a long lasting consistency then I settle for High end ( Mac’s Ruby woo ofcourse!) The great thing about high end branded lipsticks is that their lipsticks most likely contain essential nutrients and moisturisers that will be great for your lips, apart from that that’s about it. Nude lips are perfect for every skin tone and sometimes you may think it looks terrible on you but the truth is you are probably not wearing or applying it on properly. To wear a nude lip, you should get various shades of lip pencils that perfectly fit well with that particular lipstick, before I wear my nude lipstick I always apply a bit of concealer and loose powder to my lips so I blur out any discolouration and also to get an accurate consistency. Then I apply a little to my lower lip and then build it up till I get the consistency I want.
Here are various pictures of me in different nude shades:
