Eventful Thrifting Weekend

Last Week Saturday, I headed to the other side of the country to spend time with El and his family as it was his birthday on Monday.

On Sunday morning, Ellis’s mum, sister and I jet off to East End Thrift Store for their massive clearance sale which was sold on a sale by bag basis. You had to either select a £10 bag to fill up with clothes or a £20 bag. At first we chose £10 bags but we then got £20 bags because it made much sense giving that our most collected items were jackets and blazers hence they were difficult to stuff in the £10 bags.
Overall, it was a great experience ! Only if we had made it to the first day of the sale rather than the last as it was a bit difficult sourcing amazing stuff but we did and we were very pleased with our finds. I had also blogged about East End thrift Store a couple of years back and it’s definitely a must go to vintage store in London if you love timeless pieces. I also advice that you follow their Facebook page incase of any regular clearance update.

As far as Ellis’s birthday was concerned, we attended a lovely Chinese restaurant in Bushey( chinese is Ellis’s fav cuisine) which was so lovely and the food was immaculate. I literally couldn’t breath after my appetiser, I had to go our for fresh air haha! but overall it was a great relaxing weekend! Now I am back home ready to face my intense courseworks  from my masters degree. How was your weekend?

I love you blog! And that looked fun and yummy!…. Also, I saw that you had an online store with tictail.com. Do you like that site? Would you recommend it?
